Bodybalance 47 First Look My Viewpoint

This is the final release of 2009. I come to this release mentally exhausted and emotionally wasted. Due to personal things going on in my life. It has been a really reflective month and I now know how saying you love someone is very important.

This release is now my favorite from the 40's series of Bodybalance. It is my favorite release of 2009. Mainly for the fact that every track takes me back to the teens, and twenties of mid section of Bodybalance. What I love about this release is the music and more important the flow of the moves from one track to the other.

Here we go:

Track 1 is a beautifully flowing track it is a happy and joyful intro to the class. There are 5 set moves in the track they flow really in synchronization  from one pose to the next which sets the pace of this release. Jackie does a wonderful job introducing us to this release.

Track 2 by a group I have featured here a long time ago.I love their music. There are 6 blocks in the sun salutation they flow in perfect unison. There is a natural flow in the music and it just moves into your head and stay there. The music and symbols synchronizes the music to the moves. When you hear the cues and match them then you are in perfect flow with the music and yoga poses.

Track 3 from this release has many challenges the most challenging is the second sequence. Just trust yourself and know your mental toughness and you will be amazed what is possible and what you can do. It is a fast track transitions are the main focus in this release.

Track 4 Is the best track 4 from the 40's releases for me I don't know why? It just relates to me and I guess where I am currently in my space I love this track. There are a set of poses that are bought together in synchronization. As I said I love this track and it beings a softness to my heart when going through it.

Track 5 A very tough track 5 not saying much about this track. However,. the poses are tough and require good yoga base to work from. You simply melt into each pose.

Track 6 brings back allot of floor work it is a set up track. Reminds me of Foolish by Ashanti.

Track 7 the big track from this release. Not saying much till everyone has done this release. It is a cool track :)

Track 8 Short and sweet lots of twisting variations in this track. Nothing complicated by well worth exploring options.

Track 9 Brings back something from the past and something new Annie Lennox closes the class to a classic 70's song. It is a body position - set up and correcting track. The ending is simply wonderful.

Overall this is the best release for 2009 to me and the best for the 40's series of Bodybalance. I may come to this release emotionally drained and that I think makes it an awesome release. It lifted me out of a space I was in and brings a happiness to my life.

Awesome work by Dr Jackie Mills and well 2010 is coming soon and Bodybalance 48 and 49 next year.  It has been a awesome 2009 for Bodybalance. Bring on 2010 ;) and the 50's series of Bodybalance.

Cheers all :)

Scorpion Pose Bodybalance 47

You are all going to love this pose. You really are won't say much for those who have not done the release. But will do a deep article here in a few weeks when everyone has done this release.

Stay strong and be committed to this pose and you will feel a sense of achievement. :)

First Look Bodybalance 47

Bodybalance 47 came my way this weekend. You are going to love this release. To me this is a highlight release of 2009.

I am going through he release tonight, it looks a really excellent release to me the standout track would be 1 and 5 so far.

There are a number of long held poses in this release. Some inovation in tracks 2 and 7. Love the Scorpion Pose in track 7 and also the return of a pose from the early 20's of Bodybalance. They say its is a new move but us old skool remember it from way back then. There is some variations in this release and a few suprises. I won't say much about that.

I will do a review of Bodybalance 47 when it all sinks in.

For those who have not done this release be prepared for a tough class, strong poses and an awesome track 1 :)

You will love this release. :)

Denied the Right to Post

Up until Monday this week I was posting on the main Les Mills Forums. I was a member of that forum since February 2007. I enjoyed posting there and really liked answering peoples questions and getting involved in the general chats on the site.

Now it is impossible for me to post there because I feel un-welcome there. I feel as If I was to post there then it may end up not so cool. The thing is I just wanted to post there and talk to others who have my passion for Bodypump and also Bodybalance. Thats it and thats whaI I wanted to do.

To go to a forum that has been apart of my life since 2007 and it has been a daily visit there to not being able to go there and post is not cool. Because I have no idea who is going to enter the thread and what they are going to say to me there. I have no control of what people write in each thread there and choose not be a part of a thread where I have no idea where and who is going to take it in another direction. So to avoid that I cannot post there :(

From now I will never be able to post there.

Rather sad to say the least.

Bodybalance 46 Review

Hi Everyone,

Been a-while since I have posted here. I am in the home straight of getting my Masters of On Line Education. That is a dream for me to get 5 more assignments to go and there you go a Masters :) expect to finish January 30th 2010.

Then a voice inside says Dr of Education and where there is a voice you have to listen to sometimes :)

Bodybalance 46 came my way on the 8th August 2009. This is a wonder full release.

The track lists are here for this release this is an epic release.

Track one (Delerium) - Lost & Found

Strong athletic moves 7 short sequenced poses. Blocks are back in this track strong martial arts feel to the release. You will love this track very sensual in parts.

Track 2 (Delerium) - Serenity

The longest sun-salutation ever to me. Two part sun salutations. There is a surprise in this track. Must remember to breathe :) when you get into the flow of this track it is simple to follow, you need to remember the sequences. Have fun with this track.

Track 3 (Yellow Hue) - Magnificent

Another long track, complicated in parts, requires concentration on all levels and there is a sequence in the release where you feel it in the legs towards the end, stay strong :)

Track 4 (Amanda Myers) - Shine

One of the shortest track 4's I can ever remember. Easy transitions in movement. Tons of options and a few dance based poses in the release. There is a magical sequence at the end of the the song.

Track 5 (Annie Lennox) - Why

Wow is the word a few moves and long sequences. Love this track and now one of my favorite track 5's now. Just melt into each pose and drift into the track. Awesome track Dr Jackie Mills.

Track 6 (Jennifer Hudson) - Spotlight

A fun track 4 major moves and lots of Pilate's in this ab track. What I have noticed is breath is important in this track. There is a return of a old pose here. If you remember My Culture then this is all I can say :)

Track 7 (Broken Strings) - Mike Stone

Strong athletic track two new poses won't say much more :) love the beginning and the end ouch :)

Track 8 (Changes) - Will Young

All I can say awesome :) love the return of Power Yoga to Bodybalance.

Track 9 (Run) - Leona Lewis

This is my all time favorite track 9 ever. Truly a wonderful track, very moving tons of inversions and love the ending.

The meditation track restful - wanting more of it :)

It is one of the best Bodybalance experiences one can have a big 10/10 from me to Jackie and Diana Mills :)

Awesome now waiting for Bodybalance 47 :)

This Bodybalance is one of the best ever.

Additional Information on Pregnancy

If you are pregnant, consult your doctor or midwife before beginning a strength training program. While most women benefit from such exercise, there are a few conditions which may preclude it (i.e. history of threatened miscarriage, high blood pressure, incompetent cervix).

Resistance Training for Obese, Pre-Adolescent and Older Adult Clientele By providing a variety of options, using creativity and ingenuity and treating each client individually, you can meet the needs of these special groups.

Back to Posting Here Bodybalance 45

Its ironic that people post on forums and think they know you. They can say what they like and no one censors what is said and pretty much anything goes.

So from now on I will be posting here and totally ignoring what is going on there.

Gets pretty much when you come to a forum and post and have to defend oneself each time I post there.

Much debate on Bodybalance 45 and Ava Maria by Beyonce Knowles.

It is an awesome track it is part B to You Make it Real by James Morison. Both tracks compliment each other.

Tracks 8 and 9 link so well together.

Track 8 Ava Maria is wonderful track :)

New Format for choreography notes - issues!

New format to the notes (seen at least 5 of these in my time) the latest one is hard to follow. There is a gap where they describe the next movement. Then they recommence the notes. This makes it harder to learn. The counts need to be next to the sequence. They are all over the place makes i harder to learn.

To the point I have to translate them back to where everything is in close prox to each other.

Another concern, where I am from we have CEC's we need to have 18 for re-registration every 2 years it is a requirement for registration. In the past versions of the notes we had a detailed written component which tells us about the poses and in-depth analysis of the poses. Based on this we have examinations, well they have gone, I have no idea why? We need them there so that we can do the examinations and understand the releases from a teaching perspective.

I am for progress, but they need to consult the end user of the notes to gauge reaction to the new format. Based on that rectification yes. They need working on.

MVP!
