FORGOT BUT NOT REALLY POSES
BIRD POSE
It has been almost 3 years since bird pose. Last time used in BB 13, before that BB 6 and BB 5 1999.
It makes a welcome comeback in track 6.
This pose requires preparation. The pose needs to come from low intense pose.
Pre Cueing is essential.
Participants need to know that Low Intense Pose is OK to start with. Then in their own time they will make a choice to come up to bird pose (see below.)

HOW TO BECOME A BODYBALANCE INSTRUCTOR
There are different rules for different areas regarding pre-registration. This is a viewpoint from Australia: Australia has a unique qualification framework we call it (AQTF) Australian Quality Training Framework that is the centerpiece of our education system. By requirement, anyone working in gyms (fitness centers.) whether state or privately owned has to have properly trained people working for them. Fitness Australia has been given the authority of The Federal Government as it is speaking voice the authority to establish benchmarks. Fitness Australia - in conjunction with its various stake holders (states.) guidelines for persons working in facilities. They state that any person providing fitness activities must have a Certificate III in Fitness or Equiv. and either one of three specialisation areas (Gym - Group - Aqua.) as a specialisation. In my case my area of specialisation is Gym (Gym Instructor Registered.) In addition, all Instructors must have Senior First Aid - CPR and EAR and current insurance. Les Mills Australia requires all instructors registered via their local state authority (in my case Fitness Queensland.) They also recommend that you attend many classes (30 +) or more before attending the training. In the case of Australia you need to be sponsored by a Gym (Licensed Facility.) The person is sent off to training and begins their life as a Les Mills Registered Instructor. Instructors are encouraged to submit a video 12 weeks after their first (solo) class to get international certification. Information provided is from me and is not endorsed by Les Mills International (TM) and Fitness Australia. It is a personal viewpoint. HOME PAGE
TEAM TEACHING
So what is team teaching?
Over many centuries, educators (teacher’s - trainers - instructors.) have collaborated on projects and educational learning sessions. Team teaching or dual instructing is nothing new. It essentially gives a different viewpoint or view of instruction and ideas.
In Bodybalance, team teaching is awesome. It allows the students of the class to see different options and poses from various angles and approached and using different options.
Ideally your Bodybalance Instructor should be demonstrating all options from various angles and options.
Team teaching imporves instructional delivery - approaches to the class and allows special options to be deomstrated to target groups (disabled - special populations - elderly - pregnant participants.) in the class.
If your gym does not have team teaching them ask them about it. Checkout the Basic Yoga Sections:
