BODYBALANCE 28 RETROSPECT

TECHNICAL REVIEW:
Bodybalance 28 is a remarkable release it is an athletic class as described by head choreographer Dr Jackie Mills to superb music chosen by Jackie and Philip Mills.

TRACK 1 (GEORGE MICHAEL.) JESUS TO A CHILD

Silence comes from the stillness within. Covering a spectrum of tai chi movements to a 32 count cycle. The feeling of the track is tranquil. Demonstrating that through slow solid movements it can be a atheltic as one can make it. The track fuses elements of strong tai chi with vast spaces of light enfused with moments of the sounds of the ocean and light with the whole track through total breath control and iinternal focus.

TRACK 2 (DELERIUM.) AFTER ALL

Sun salutations come a full circle here with 4 short sun salutations have not seen this since Mother Era from a previous Bodybalance. The track lends light fused with intense movements and bring forth a glory of movements that can be described as confronting and challenging with space for plenty of sun progression in the sequencing of the poses.

TRACK 3 (EVANESCENT.) GOING UNDER

This is a hard track compared to previous releases. The track divides into 1/2 - 1/2 standing strength and this lends itself to a rather vigorous multitude of standing strength / wariors and extended warriors in the release. Instiled with the softness of tai chi sequences in the choreography.

TRACK 4 (R - KELLY.) DIARY OF ME

An intense balance track tons of physical challenges and movements. A solid standing strength challenge in focus and breath and control of sequences the ending is stillness and calming star poses (two.) solid holds and a awesome ending to a most controversial track.

TRACK 5 (MOODWINGS - FEAT CHIRSSI HYNDE.)
SPIRITUAL HIGH

This is the most luxurious hip opener ever done. The interwoven of inversions and lunges lend itself to a rather Vigorous workout on many levels and ending in Martin Luther King's insparational speech that spoke for a generation of reform in the 1960's and awesome song indeed.

TRACK 6 (JEWEL.) INTUITION

This track brings back The Bird Pose which has not been seen in 3 years. Interwoven with core pilates abdominals works the core to the core.

TRACK 7 (LIVE.) HEAVEN

A short track begining with core back work and awesome lower back exercises. This is hard core back work for those who challenge themselves right to the end and accept nothing but technical execution of core back movements at the end of the track.

TRACK 8 (SUGARBABES.)
SHAPE

The hard work is done and this is one of the last mellow tracks on the release. Involves spinal correction and core back releases interfused with supine twist movements.

TRACK 9 (SARAH MC LAUCHLAN.) FALLEN

This track is the last track of this release. Interwoven with the inversions, balletic movements and tons of hamsting lengthening exercises.

TRACK 10 (DEUTER.) SEA OF SILENCE

This track is the perfect ending to a Bodybalance class has tons of areas within for silent reflection and allowing the sounds of the ocean to come into the class. Make the slience speak for itself.

TRACK 11 (SOULFOOD.) CELESTIAL MEDITATIONS PART 1

A short journey home bring everyone home with this relective peace interwoven wirh the sounds and sounds of the last track.
